The reputation and success of BASICS South East is dependent on both the clinical experience of our team members and the way in which they are perceived by our patients, ambulance service colleagues and receiving hospitals. A robust selection and training process is required to ensure that all BASICS South East team members have the necessary skills, experience, and personal qualities to work within our team.
We recruit from the following clinical grades:
- GMC Registered Doctor
- NMC Registered Nurse
- HCPC Registered Paramedic
- HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner
BASICS South East recognises the developing curriculum and scope of advanced practice and will accept applications from those working at an advanced practice level from the following clinical grades:
- NMC Registered Nurse
- HCPC Registered Paramedic
- HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
Those applicants that are identified as working in advanced practice, will have their application form shortlisted against the Advanced Practice person specification and not that of their base clinical grade.
